Two New Mobiles To Peruse

February 5th, 2010

News has been leaked onto the internet about two new Sony Ericsson mobile phones due out later this year. The two phones are the Sony Ericsson G502 and the Sony Ericsson P1 and they should be announced officially by the mobile manufacturer later this week – when more information will be known about the specifications.

First the G502 which by all accounts looks like a pretty standard mobile from Sony Ericsson, much like the K660i that has recently been released. It will be a candybar shaped mobile with a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, 32MB internal memory and 3G / HSDPA.

There is nothing truly spectacular about the Sony Ericsson G502, but that does not necessarily mean it is a poor quality phone. Sony Ericsson mobiles are generally good quality, even the 2 megapixel camera will be of a high standard image on the screen. And the HSDPA should set it apart from a few other mobiles on the market.

Finally there is the Sony Ericsson P5, which is the new smartphone offering from the popular manufacturer. Slightly less is known about this mobile, but what few things we do know are very exciting. The Sony Ericsson P5 is a smartphone with a qwerty keypad hidden under the slide part. It will be a smartphone running off the latest UIQ 3.3 UI for Symbian operating system, with a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and HSDPA.

So the P5 really is the one to watch, there is no word on release dates for either of the new Sony Ericsson’s – more information will be made available once the phones are officially announced.

Superfast Internet and a QWERTY Keyboard Make the Nokia E55 a Hit

January 13th, 2010

The Nokia E55 offers exceptionally fast internet access as well as the means to fully make use of that speedy connection. A QWERTY keyboard, which is responsive and effective, is one of this phones main points and it doesn’t disappoint. With a compact size of only 116 mm x 49 mm and only 9 mm thick, this phone is simple and efficient to use. It weighs approx 98 grams, which means it is also within the lightweight category.

The phones 10 Mbps internet connection is provided by the HSDPA, whilst the Wi-Fi function offers the ability to connect up to the net via available hot spots. The connectivity element of this phone is one of the most comprehensive seen on a mobile phone and also consists of GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Blue tooth and microUSB. The addition of GPS provides satellite navigation.

A 3.2 mega pixel camera which is included within the phone comes with certain features which enhance its appeal, such as enhanced fixed focus and an LED flash. The camera itself operates at 2048 x 1536 pixels. The camera is good enough to take effective still images, whether to view on the impressive screen or print out. Video recording and playback at VGA quality is included within the package. This offers an alternative to static images and is more often used currently. A secondary camera provides the ability for the user to make and receive video calls. Internal memory on this phone is 60 Mb, which is not the largest available, however the microSD slot enables the phones memory to be increased up to 16 Gb.

The phones display screen is a 2.4 inch TFT screen which can and does display 16 million colours. Images displayed are excellent quality with faithful colour reproduction. The front face also includes, apart from the screen, a half QWERTY keyboard. This keypad responds well and is an effective means of data entry.

The Nokia E55 is similar in many ways to the N97. It offers excellent connectivity whilst ensuring its user can enter data in a simple and effective manner, by offering a keyboard. The simple nature of this phone belies its usefulness, with many features included to entice the phone user whilst still providing a stylish and compact handset.

Compact Samsung Q1 Ultra Q1U-CMXP Laptop

December 4th, 2009

The quality and advantageous features play a very important role for me when I choose any item in the shop. The Samsung Q1 Ultra Q1U-CMXP is one of the best mini laptops I have ever seen. This mode of a laptop has a 7-inch widescreen display. Despite the fact that the screen is small, it is very clean and its colors are amazing. Watching movies on this mini laptop is a real pleasure, especially when you are on road.

The Intel Processor A100 provides a quick and stable work of this mini laptop. Because of this type of processor the Samsung laptop works quite good. A 80 GB hard drive disk is quite enough for storing all the necessary documents and files. It is very convenient when you have all the necessary documents with you.

The weight of Samsung laptop is only 1.52 pounds. As you can see, it is not heavy at all. Besides, it has a very small size and even it is possible to put it in the customer’s pocket. It is an ideal item or those people who travel a lot.

Is it possible to connect to the Internet with the help of this mini laptop? Yes, it is. It is possible to connect to the Internet with the help of 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, 10/100 Ethernet, integrated HSDPA modem for cellular broadband. The connection is great and quick.
The Samsung battery works quite well. The battery life is long up to 4.5 hours is the working possibility of this laptop. Though the price for this laptop is a little bit high, but it is worth it.
