Samsung F700 Review

January 21st, 2010

When it comes to hi-tech 3g mobile phones, it’s easy to see that Samsung F700 is one of the best mobile phones today. In fact, it is closely related to Apple iPhone.

Samsung F700 was unveiled to everyone on September 17, 2007 at 3GSM. It looks just like the iPhone. Samsung F700 is known to be the closest competitor of the iPhone. Other phones that look like and try to imitate the features of iPhone are no match for the iPhone. But the Samsung F700 might be the rival of the Apple iPhone. Its features are really good. Samsung F700, compared to the iPhone, is less wide, thicker and has a dark blue color. Its large touch screen looks nice and responses to touch almost instantaneously. There’s a mechanical key at the bottom of the screen that opens the main menu when pressed. On the top of the Samsung F700 are the power key and a charging port that is right next the 3.5mm headphone jack. The 3.55mm headphone jack has a cover to avoid dust from coming in. In many cases, Samsung F700 is very easy to drop so make sure to hold it firmly. It also gets fingerprints easily so make sure you wipe it off often. There’s a slide out QWERTY keyboard under the screen. It is very easy to use especially when you want to send e-mails or text messages.

With the QWERTY keyboard, you can prevent putting fingerprints on the screen. The Samsung F700 is 3G capable. You can use HSDPA to connect to the internet and enjoy a 3.6 mbps connection speed. You can browse the internet with its built-in web browser or you can use the phone itself as your PC’s modem by connecting it through the USB. It is faster to download files on the internet through Samsung F700. You can even watch videos on the internet through streaming. You can also stream and listen to music on the internet. You can watch YouTube videos with it. You can also view Google maps with it. Its MusicStation lets you download download your favorite tracks using the application built-in the phone. You can download all those music fast for a flat-rate monthly subscription.

The only problem is that all those music will be deleted if you discontinued paying the monthly subscription. You can listen to this music using your own headphone or you can use Samsung’s stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) headphones. The audio quality is loud and clear. Its loud speaker is also really good. The music player though, is quite simple, and there’s not much control. The camera’s quality is really good too, since it is a 3.0 megapixel camera. You can also use the video call feature with its secondary VGA camera. It can last for at least a day and a half with normal usage but will be less if you used HSDPA over a long period.

Samsung F700 certainly does have good features. I can tell you now that you will not regret buying one.

HTC Touch Diamond Cell Phone Review

November 14th, 2009

HTC Touch Diamond is an ultimate working tool disguised as a designer mobile. A large, clear touch-screen, which you can read e-mail at without squinting, is one of the things you will appreciate. In addition, the mobile phone is one of the first which has the operating system Windows Mobile 6.1, which gives you a pocket version of Word, Excel, Outlook and PDF files show.

There is nothing to say to that Touch Diamond is launched as “The IPhone Killer”, for it is impossible not to compare. Touch Diamond is, however, leading in several Parameters, such as its smaller size, lighter weight which is 110g and its very elegant design. At the same time, there is a small control panel with “real buttons” at the bottom, which gives you a greater level of safety of navigation, if you’re not familiar with touch screens. And then of course mobile phone supports MMS and Java.

The mobile phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and video capability, and your images are razor sharp on the 2.8 inch screen with 4 times as many pixels as most phones. The phone also supports mp4 and mp3 files of almost all kind. It has Wi-Fi, GPS, a lightning fast Internet with Turbo 3G (HSDPA) and 4 GB of memory – that is just some of what you get with Touch Diamond. The music comes from radio or mp3/mp4.

But it is equally the many smaller features that give a unique experience with Touch Diamond, for example, the vibrating TouchFLO menu system that makes it easy to scroll through menus with a fingertip, the always updated graphical weather, and the clock on the start screen , Who “browse” every minute.

The phone has a standby time up to 285 hours, if you are on the Internet the battery time will of course be lowered. You can also talk for around 5 hours and 30 minutes and the battery time will also be lowered. This phone also has Bluetooth, calender, radio, pocket Internet Explorer and a 3 megapixel camera.

Compared with the HTC touch pro I would prefer the Diamond because its so much thinner and I don’t need the slide-out keyboard (which the Pro version has). I prefer the “normal” phone keyboard.

HTC Touch Diamond Review

October 24th, 2009

The HTC Corp, though a relatively young company, has already captured the hearts of millions across the globe with their amazing device, the HTC Touch Diamond. The mobile phone is extraordinary in everything it offers its users: style, utility and innovation. The first thing that would attract you about this phone is its amazing beauty of brushed steel with mat finish, smooth flowing edges and as compact as it can come. Whenever you would read a HTC Touch Diamond review, you would most definitely find one whole paragraph to its amazing style and beauty.

The second most impressive factor is the huge 2.8″ TFT touch screen. Not only is the screen of the phone super-huge but also, it brings the menu literally at your fingertips. The touch screen is powered by a new technology, TouchFlo 3D which permits you to operate your mobile phone with your fingers by touching different icons on the screen. You have to experience this in order to understand how amazing it feels to do so. The HTC Touch Diamond comes not only with this amazing innovation but also with super fast connectivity to the Internet through yet another ground-breaking technology, HSDPA. You can surf the Net and even open and navigate sites such as YouTube, Google and the like.

This is not all. As you will read in the HTC Touch Diamond review, this phone comes with a wonderful 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash. You can now capture any such memory you like, anytime it happens because you would be always ready. The camera is easy to set up, easy to use and produces excellent quality photographs and videos. The HTC Touch Diamond comes with a picture stabilizer that insures that your photograph is perfect even if your subject chooses not to. You can shoot excellent videos, while the still camera can give you an unending source of joy.

The HTC Touch Diamond review would mention the major highlights of the HTC Touch Diamond mobile phone:

1. A huge 2.8″ touch screen – the screen is great in two ways – size and touch-driven menu. You would be quite impressed seeing the huge screen at first; then the touch ability of the mobile phone would make you completely forget about the size and concentrate on its utility. The TouchFlo 3D interface literally brings the mobile phone to life.

2. Weather announcement – this is perhaps one of the few if not first mobile phone that provides you a weather analysis wherever you go. It has two settings so you could program it to see the weather where you are presently and at home. The same goes for the time.

3. Internet connectivity – The HTC Touch Diamond review also mentions the excellent HSDPA internet connectivity with the help of which you could access Internet at high speed for effortless surfing, uploading and downloading.

4. Memory – the HTC Touch Diamond comes with a 4GB internal storage memory, which gives you scope to carry as many songs, photographs, video clips as you would like.

5. GPS – this is one of the very few phones, according to the HTC Touch Diamond review that allows you satellite navigation experience with the help of automatically reading maps.

Overall, this is a product that deserves all the accolades it was awarded and more.
