Superfast Internet and a QWERTY Keyboard Make the Nokia E55 a Hit

The Nokia E55 offers exceptionally fast internet access as well as the means to fully make use of that speedy connection. Internal memory on this phone is 60 Mb, which is not the largest available, however the microSD slot enables the phones memory to be increased up to 16 Gb.

The phones display screen is a 2.4 inch TFT screen which can and does display 16 million colours. Images displayed are excellent quality with faithful colour reproduction. The front face also includes, apart from the screen, a half QWERTY keyboard. This keypad responds well and is an effective means of data entry.

The Nokia E55 is similar in many ways to the N97. It offers excellent connectivity whilst ensuring its user can enter data in a simple and effective manner, by offering a keyboard. The simple nature of this phone belies its usefulness, with many features included to entice the phone user whilst still providing a stylish and compact handset.

The Samsung S5600 white is a phone which has an elegant air about it. It provides a functional phone with a dash of colour to make it stand out as a little different from the crowd. Its features make this phone an attractive proposition, which coupled with its striking colour, ensures it is well received.

The phone provides a 2.8 inch TFT touch screen which offers superb QVGA resolution and displays an amazing 16 million colours at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Needless to say this impressive screen shows images in stark life like colours and with a vibrant feel that simply makes them stand out. The accelerometer function ensures images are shown in their correct aspect.

The 3.15 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and an LED flash as well as smile detection is a useful addition to the arsenal of functions on this phone and provides the means to take snapshots quickly and efficiently. QVGA video capture is also available and is at an impressive 15 frames per second. The phone also provides the ability to make and receive video calls to other suitably attired phones.

The phone offers an MP3 player which plays MP3, WMA and AAC files as well as including the Shazam find music service, which helps to find the relevant details of a song. The FM stereo radio provides a means to listen to local and national radio stations and catch up on the latest news and weather. Internal memory is 80 Mb but with the ability to expand up to an impressive 16 Gb.

The HSDPA connection provides internet access at 7.2 Mbps enabling fast web browsing. The Blue tooth and USB connections, both of which are version 2, enable the transfer and synchronisation of files. GPRS and EDGE are also included within this phone.
